Aluminum Mercruiser 8.1 L Engine Cover

Custom aluminum engine cover for the Mercruiser 8.1S Horizon engines. Cover is laser cut from either 1/4" or 3/8" 6061 aluminum and comes with new allen head stainless steel bolts, and custom spacers. Cover provides a solid platform on top of the motors to allow more stable access to bilge areas for maintenance and to avoid costly damage to either the engine or the now discontinued stock plastic covers. These covers also give better access to the throttle linkage, and coolant and oil fill locations. As an added benefit they also remove air restriction caused by the stock plastic covers around the flame arrestors. 

These covers are custom made to order and take approximately 10 days from order date to final shipment to you.  If you are unsure of compatibility or if these will fit your motors please reach out prior to ordering with your engine serial numbers so I can cross check against the manufacturer specifications. If your engine covers are the black ones shown in the photos you should be fine.

As these are not stock items, and are custom parts made to order these are not returnable.
